Man Dies After Hit By Vehicle In Lemont Township: Coroner

LEMONT, IL — A man has died after he was struck by a motor vehicle while walking in Lemont Township on Sunday night, according to the Will County Coroner's Office.

The coroner's office did not give an exact location of the incident, and identification of the man is being withheld pending notifications to next of kin.

The man was pronounced dead at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday at Silver Cross Hospital, according to the coroner's office.

The Cook County Sheriff Police is investigating the incident.
