Man Steals TV From Lemont Target: Cops
A Joliet man stole a TV from the Lemont Target, and crashed into two cars while he fled from police.

LEMONT, IL — A Joliet man was arrested after stealing a TV from the Lemont Target and Kohls, police said. Edwin Roman, 52, was charged with two counts of retail theft, fleeing and eluding and other traffic related offenses.
Police said they responded to the Lemont Target on Archer Avenue for a TV retail theft in progress at 1:30 p.m. June 7. Officers were able to locate Roman, who then fled the scene in his car. Police notified surrounding agencies that Roman had fled westbound on Archer Avenue.
Roman crashed into a car in Lockport and fled the scene, and also crashed again in Joliet and fled the scene, police said. His car was found in the area of Cass and Archer in Joliet, and Roman was taken into custody.

After an investigation, police were able to find out that Roman had also stolen a TV from Kohl's in Lemont on June 2. Roman was also charged with hit and runs by the Lockport and Joliet police departments.
