Masters Swim Team Offered At Lemont Park District

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Park District has announced the creation of its own Masters Swim Team. The Big Fins Masters Swim Team will be led by Coach Shannon Boyle, according to the park district.

Practices begin Sept. 10 at 5:30 a.m. The team is for swimmers 18 and older, and is for lap swimmers to swim team veterans. The minimum requirement is the ability to swim eight lengths of the pool. All classes will be held at the CORE.

According to the park district, the team will provide structured workouts with a coach on deck to offer feedback and assistance in improving technique, efficiency and speed. All participants must become a registered USMS member.
