Meet Lemont's St. Patrick's Day Queen

As a current LHS senior, she has excelled academically and has been involved in numerous clubs, organizations, and athletic teams throughout her academic career. She currently serves as President of the Lemont High School Leo Club, the youth organization of Lions Clubs International, which she joined during the club’s inaugural year. Through her work with the Leo Club, she has helped organize food drives, coat drives, and annual Earth Day Recycling Events. As President of the LHS Leo Club, she initiated and lead a shoe drive with the nonprofit organization Soles4Souls, collecting and donating more than thousand pairs of shoes for impoverished individuals.
Charlotte is a also an active member of the National Honor Society; the Rho Kappa History Society, where she has focused her efforts on preserving local history and educating others; and the Tri M Music Society, where she serves as the group’s historian. She is also a member of the LHS Scholastic Bowl team, the LHS Athletic Council, and an inaugural member of the LHS Badminton Team. Additionally, she is a clarinet player and four-year member of the award-winning Lemont High School Marching and Symphonic Bands, and has served as clarinet section leader. Charlotte has also been part of the LHS Varsity Dance Team for the past three years and was captain for the 2019-2020 season, in which the team made its fifth state finals appearance.

Representing all the qualities the nominating committee looks for in the St. Patrick’s Day Queen, Charlotte Albrecht will celebrate her Irish heritage as she leads the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 7, 2020.
