Mild Temps Continue; Rain And Snow Later In The Week For IL

The mild temperatures will continue this week, with temps getting up to 50 degrees on Monday. The National Weather Service said the threat for localized ice jam flooding will continue on area rivers. Areas of fog are also likely on Monday morning.

Wind and rain are likely on Monday, and Tuesday will be slightly cooler with a high of 36 degrees but it should remain dry during the day. Tuesday night through Thursday night could see a wintry mix at times, the NWS said. Wednesday and Thursday will both be in the 40s, with a high of 43 and 42 respectively.

Friday looks to be a day free of any precipitation, but the coldest day of the week. The NWS said it will be partly sunny with a high of 21 degrees.
