Warm Weather Weekend: 50 Degrees In Illinois
Unseasonably warm temperatures are expected for the first weekend in 2019.

Some mild temperatures are in store this weekend, and we could see temps over 50 degrees on Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, there is also patchy fog expected, mainly outside of Chicago, on Friday night through Saturday late morning.
The high for Saturday is 51 degrees, while the high for Sunday is 46 degrees. The NWS said a fast-moving system will also bring rain and wind on late Sunday into Monday.
The unseasonably warm temps will also continue into Monday which has a high of 54 degrees, although gusts could be up to 30 mph.

- FRIDAY NIGHT: Patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 30. West northwest wind around 5 mph.
- SATURDAY: Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 49. West wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
- SATURDAY NIGHT: Patchy fog after 10 p.m. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 30. West wind around 5 mph becoming northeast after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 10 mph.
- SUNDAY: Patchy fog before 9 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 42. East wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 15 mph.
- SUNDAY NIGHT: Rain after midnight. Low around 36. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
