Missing Aurora Man's Vehicle Found in Lemont
Authorities said the man is possibly armed with a gun and could harm himself.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 54-year-old Aurora man who was reported missing Wednesday and who they fear may try to harm himself.
Steven Haas, 54, of the 400 block of Regency Court, left his home between 12:45 and 1:35 p.m. on Oct. 26. An investigation has uncovered evidence that he may harm himself and that he is possibly armed with a handgun, according to Aurora police.
Authorities located the man’s vehicle Wednesday night at a DuPage County Forest Preserve site near Cass and Bluff in Lemont. Authorities did not locate Haas following a search of the area, according to an Aurora Police Department Facebook post.

Haas is described as a white male who is 5-feet 11-inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and has blue eyes and blonde hair. Anyone who locates Haas is asked to call 911.
