Mostaccioli Monday a 'Huge Success' at Mama D's
A Homer Glen man won $100 and children were delighted to meet Elsa from "Frozen."

LEMONT, IL - The first ever "Mostaccioli Monday" at Mama D's restaurant in Lemont was a "huge success," Owner Joe DeNardis said.
The event, held on Monday, Feb. 20, offered a tote bag and raffle ticket to anyone who showed up and bought mostaccioli. At the end of the day, the exclusive baked mostaccioli dish sold out. More than 100 other pasta dishes were also sold during the day.
DeNardis said the main goal for the event was to "bring families out."

“Making kids smile and seeing customers enjoy our homemade entrees makes all the hard work worth it.” he said. An Elsa impersonator had candy, stickers and giveaways for all guests. There was a coloring station set up for kids during the entire day as well.
“She (Elsa) was awesome and the kids were so excited to see her,” DeNardis said.
