New Avenue in Lemont Reopened
New Avenue, between 127th and Timberline, is closed due to standing water.
LEMONT, IL - Update: At approximately 1:30 p.m., New Avenue has been reopened.
Due to heavy rain, New Avenue will be closed between Timberline and 127th Street.
Police said the road is covered in high standing water, and crews are working to alleviate the problem.
