New Barbershop Open In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — A new barbershop is now open in Lemont, with a grand opening celebration set for Feb. 14.

Wisemen Barbershop is open at 1243 State St., Suite 101, and is owned by Moe Alsheikh, an ICU nurse turned barbershop owner.

Alsheikh told Patch his career revolved around caring for others in the hospital, and he wanted to take everything he learned in health care, like "attention to detail, trust, and creating a comfortable experience, and incorporate that into a barbershop setting."

"I teamed up with two close friends, and together we turned our shared dream into a reality by opening Wisemen Barbershop," he said.

Alsheikh said the team is "incredibly excited" to start serving Lemont and hope to become "a go-to local shop for residents of all ages."

"We bring a combined wealth of experience in the barbering industry and take a lot of pride in delivering high-quality service in a welcoming, community-focused environment," he said.
