New Breakfast Restaurant Coming To Lemont

LEMONT, IL — A new pancake house will be opening in Lemont. Fork & Spoon Cafe, located at 1264 State Street, will hopefully be open in April 2018. The property has sat empty for the past several years, since the closing of Pancake Cafe.

Owner and Lemont resident Bob Koutoulogenis said he moved to Lemont about four years ago, and immediately saw a need for a breakfast restaurant.

"I had the opportunity to open the business in Lemont, close to home, and I saw a need for it," Koutoulogenis said.

The restaurant will feature your standard breakfast fare, as well as lunch. It will serve pancakes, french toast, crepes, omelets, egg dishes, and salads and sandwiches for lunch.

Drawings for the restaurant have already been submitted to the village, and Koutoulogenis plans to do a little remodeling before he opens.

"It's going to be more contemporary, and I can't wait to get started," he said. "I'm really excited."
