New Carpet and Water Heater Coming for Old Quarry
The entrances to all District 113A schools will also be treated with a shatter-resistant glass film.

Old Quarry Middle School will see some upgrades in coming months, including a new water heater and carpet.
The Lemont-Bromberek District 113A Board of Education Wednesday approved a $97,410 expenditure to lay new carpeting, beginning with the academic hallways and learning resource center this summer. Trustees also OKed spending $13,373 to replace the school’s water heater.
The entrances of all three district schools will also be treated with shatter-resistant glass film, at a cost of $16,882 to be covered by a $22,822 Illinois Emergency Management Agency Security Grant.
