New Commissioner Chosen For Lemont Park District Board

Julie Mescher has been chosen as the new commissioner for the Lemont Park District Board.

LEMONT, IL – The Lemont Park Board of Commissioners announced the appointment of the newest board member, Julie Mescher. This spring, the park board received a letter of resignation from previous Park District Board Commissioner, John Diorio.

The park district said Mescher was sworn in at the monthly board meeting on May 15.

"I am honored to be appointed as a Lemont Park District Commissioner. I believe the Park District serves as the 'core' of Lemont and I feel privileged to have the opportunity to help the Park District continue to meet its mission of addressing needs, issues, and trends in this community that I am so proud to call home,” Mescher said.
