New nonprofit daytime choir for older adults in Lemont/Homer Glen
Fastest growing choral organization in Chicago brings new choir to Lemont/Homer Glen!

The largest and fastest growing nonprofit choral organization in the Chicago area is starting their 9th choir in the Lemont/Homer Glen area. The supportive, collaborative, and fun daytime rehearsals are conducted under the popular direction of Mary Doughty Mauch, professional choral conductor and master teacher. Mrs. Mauch has also worked regularly with the Lemont High School choir and was the accompanist for the recent production of Cinderella.
All levels are welcome and reading music is not a requirement. Generally, theses daytime choirs are for adults over 55, but everyone is welcome. We have singers who are just learning along with experienced singers having a blast and enjoying the multitude of health and well-being benefits of singing in a choir. The first rehearsal is free, so come experience the joy of singing and the health benefits that come with singing in a choir!
Rehearsals start on Friday, September 6th from 10-11:30 a.m. at Christ Community Church, 13400 Bell Road, Lemont, IL. More information and registration at: https://soundsgoodchoir.org/lemont-homer-glen-fall-19/
