No Accumulating Snow, Milder Temps For IL

Some snow and freezing rain is possible in the early part of this week, but no accumulation is in the forecast.

ILLINOIS — After several days of snow, the week ahead looks to have mild temperatures with no accumulating snow in the forecast. The week will start out with a high of 35 degrees on Monday, with a slight chance of freezing drizzle and snow late Monday night, the National Weather Service said.

Tuesday will also start with a chance of freezing drizzle and snow before noon. The high for the day is 34 degrees, and there is a chance of snow late Tuesday into Wednesday as well.

The weather service said Wednesday will also have a high of 34 degrees, and will be mostly cloudy. Thursday and Friday will be similar, and both days should be dry with highs of 34 and 38 degrees, respectively.
