Oakwood Hosts Early Childhood Family Night

LEMONT, IL — Oakwood School offers a variety of Early Childhood family events throughout the year, which are designed to strengthen the home and school connection. In partnership with the Lemont Public Library, the most recent Family Night was hosted at the library on Dec. 5.

The school said families of students in the Early Childhood and Learning Friends Programs were treated to holiday books read by Marchand Hernandez. According to the school, there were also movement breaks, puppets, and juice and cookies.

Oakwood will hold its next event, a Parent Education Night, on Tuesday, Feb. 27 and it will be facilitated by speaker Sheila Bauer from STARNET.
