Oakwood Names September Students Of The Month

LEMONT, IL — Oakwood School recognizes several students each month in each grade who have demonstrated responsible citizenship. These Students of the Month were celebrated for September, and one student from each classroom was recognized for their efforts.

According to the school, students nominated for this prestigious honor demonstrated Oakwood’s 3 R’s, which are to be ready, be responsible and to be respectful. In addition to each child receiving a certificate, certificates are posted outside of each classroom, and to top it off, students receive a yard sign to share the accomplishment with all who pass by their homes. These traits will continue to be recognized and honored monthly in all classrooms.
