Oakwood, River Valley Fun Fair A Success

LEMONT, IL — Oakwood and River Valley PTO hosted the annual fun fair on Friday, April 13 and the community came together to support the schools. The event was planned by committee co-chairs Kelly Armsworth and Michelle Brady, the school said. Volunteers also assisted with 26 different games and activites, food stations and raffle baskets.

The school said games and activities included the sponge toss, pick a pocket for a prize, goldfish toss, face painting, football throw, and even an old fashioned shell game. There was also a new area for children five and under.

"Once again we are reminded that our communities support our schools and enjoy a family friendly time," the school said of the success of the event.
