Oakwood School Holds Annual Grandparent Bingo
Oakwood School celebrated grandparents at the annual Grandparent Bingo event.
LEMONT, IL — District 113A's Oakwood School celebrated Grandparents Day with its annual Grandparent Bingo on Sept. 13 and 14. According to the school, this event is to honor and celebrate grandparents in the lives of children. The event had 200+ people attend each evening.
Activities at the event included rounds of bingo, photo and tattoo stations, and ice cream sundaes for all. This free event has been taking place for at least the last 15 years; and the school said it’s enjoyed and cherished by all who attend.
