Oakwood School Holds Early Childhood Family Events

A variety of Early Childhood family events are held throughout the year, and they are designed to foster friendships between families.

LEMONT, IL — Oakwood School held its first Early Childhood Family Night of the year on Tuesday, Sept. 19. The school said a variety of Early Childhood family events are held throughout the year, and they are designed to foster friendships and partnerships among families.

According to the school, families of students in the Early Childhood and Learning Friends Programs came out for a night of pizza and playground fun. The school will hold another event, a Parent Education Night, at 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11.

The Learning Friends program is in its second year, and is the blended preschool program located in Oakwood School and operated by District 113A. Three- to-five year-old children residents of the school district are welcome; openings are still available.
