Oakwood School Hosts Art Show

Artwork ranged from paintings and drawings to clay projects from students of all grades at Oakwood.

LEMONT, IL — Oakwood School held an Art Show on April 26, showcasing the works of kindergarten through second grade. Under the guidance of art teachers, Cassiopeia Stehlik-Barry and Amanda Borchert, families got to visit a cumulative, interactive art show that featured artwork from throughout the school year.

Artwork ranged from paintings and drawings to clay projects from students of all grades at Oakwood, the school said. Members from the Old Quarry Choir also made a guest performance and provided music entertainment.

There were also several art stations set up around the room for children to create a work of art together with a Picasso dice game. A photo booth topped off the event, and was enjoyed by parents and kids alike.
