Oakwood School Partners With Junior Achievement
Oakwood recently partnered with JA and students received lessons delivered by corporate and community volunteers.
LEMONT, IL — Junior Achievement is the world’s largest organization dedicated to providing students from kindergarten through high school with knowledge and skills that they need to establish personal economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.
The school said Oakwood recently partnered with JA and students received lessons delivered by corporate and community volunteers which provided hands-on experiences in financial literacy. Junior Achievement partnered with Oakwood School on two half days.
The school said a.m. Kindergarten students and first grade students worked with volunteers to complete their respective grade level programs on April 10. On May 4, p.m. Kindergarten and second grade students received their lessons.
