Oakwood Students Take on Service Project 'Snowman Soup'
The students prepped the "soup" for Operation Care Package, a local organization to provide cups of good cheer to deployed servicemen.

With donations from the caring and generous students and families at Oakwood School, several classrooms were able to take part in a service project activity called “Snowman Soup,” a culminating activity in honor of Veteran’s Day. Over the course of two days, a modified assembly line was created so students could work side by side packaging treats for the troops. Boxes of the prepared “soup” will be delivered to Operation Care Package, a local organization, to send overseas to help provide cups of good cheer to our deployed servicemen and women in the military. ”Together our Oakwood bears and families showed that we care for others and those who serve our country. Thank you, thank you!”
