Obituary: Donald Boza
Donald E. Boza died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of March 30 in his Lemont home.

Donald E. Boza died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of March 30 in his Lemont home. He was 64 years old. Boza was born on Dec. 28, 1953 in Joliet to Florence Jagodzinski and Henry Boza. He grew up working at the Famous Boza’s Hot Dogs owned by his uncle John Boza in Lockport. He married Barbara Beebe in 1974. Boza worked at Rexnord as a machinist for the better part of 30 years. Boza and his wife chose to start and raise a family of their own in his hometown of Lemont.
Boza was an active member of the Catholic Fraternal Organization, Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th Degree Member. He was also an active Lemont Little League coach for many years to both his own children and many other kids throughout the community. His caring, thoughtful nature will be remembered by those who knew him for many years to come.
Boza is survived by his wife Barbara Boza (nee Beebe), daughter Christie (Joe) Rodriguez, daughter Jen Boza and son Scott Boza; six grandchildren, Ayden, Elizabeth, Tristan, Andrew, Dominic and Sofia; and brother Gilbert (Pam) Boza. Boza is preceded in death by his parents Florence and Henry Boza.

Visitation is Monday, April 2, from 3 - 8 p.m., at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Family and friends are asked to meet Tuesday, April 3, at St. Alphonsus Church, 605 State Street, Lemont, for a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment private.
