Obituary: Joyce Stanislawski

Joyce J. Stanislawski age 63, of Lockport, passed away July 3, 2018. Employed as an Administrative Assistant for 18 years at the Lemont Fire Department. Active volunteer with the Hope and Friendship Foundation. Member of the Illinois Fire Service Administrative Professionals, Illinois Fire Safety Alliance and a volunteer for Camp “I Am Me” for burn victims.

Preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Loretta Stanislawski; and a nephew, Keith Stanislawski.
Survived by her fiancé Robert Soto; her siblings, Wayne Stanislawski, Sandra (Richard) Marcin, Michael (Judy) Stanislawski, and Nancy Juska; and many loved nieces and nephews; and great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 2 – 7 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St. Lemont. Funeral services Monday, July 9, 2018, 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home to St. Patrick Church for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
