Leonard J. Lagodzinski, age 96, proud Veteran of WWII, serving with the U.S. Navy. Born July 12, 1920, passed away June 8, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, William (Elizabeth) Lagodzinski.
Lagodzinski was a lifelong resident of Lemont. He worked at Caterpillar for many years as a tool designer. His passions were golfing, painting and furniture making. He was a kind, gentle man, with a good sense of humor, and he will be missed by all that knew him.
A special thank you to the staff at Mother Theresa Home for caring for Leonard. Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 13, 10 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 608 Sobieski St., Lemont, IL 60439. Cremains interment Saturday, June 24, 11 a.m. at SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery.
