Obstructing Identification, No Driver's License: Lemont Arrests

Lemont Police reports through May 24.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

May 17

  • Rafael Roby, 39, of Dolton, was arrested at 10:33 p.m. and charged with obstructing identification, driving while license suspended/revoked, failure to give information after property damage accident and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, following an incident at Canal Bank and Old Lemont roads. Roby was issued a July 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

  • Andrew Rusthoven, 24, of Joliet, was arrested at 10:14 p.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked and no turn signal lights following a traffic stop at Illinois and Lemont streets. Rusthoven was issued a July 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Kimberly Heinzel, 29, of Naperville, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. and charged with speeding 26-34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop at Route 83 and Grant Street. Heinzel was issued a July 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

May 21

  • Algiridas Morkunas, 63, of the 0-100 block of Eureka Drive, was arrested at 8:19 p.m. and charged with speeding 26-34 mph over the limit following a traffic stop in the 14400 block of Main Street. Morkunas was issued a July 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

  • Joshua Gibson, 19, of Romeoville, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. and charged with driver's license never issued and possession of cannabis following a traffic stop at State Street and Archer Avenue. Gibson was issued a July 1 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
  • Levy Lopez-Vargas, 24, of Chicago, was arrested at 8:45 p.m. and charged with driver's license never issued and no registration plate light following a traffic stop at Lemont and Old Lemont roads. Lopez-Vargas was issued a July 3 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
