Old Quarry Student Approached By Man in Van

Lemont police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man in a bluish green mini-van who approached a female Old Quarry student in the CORE parking lot Friday morning.

The student was walking to school, when a white male attempted to have a conversation with the student in the parking lot. The student fled to the school and reported the incident to staff.

Police are seeking information in an attempt to identify the driver. The vehicle is described as bluish green mini-van with passenger side damage. The man is described as a slightly overweight, white middle-aged with brownish/black straight hair and a slight beard.
