Over 4,400 Without Power In Lemont After Tornado Warning

In addition to outages, the Village shared that New Avenue is closed between Main Street and Timberline Drive due to a gas leak.

LEMONT, IL — After severe storms and a tornado warning on Monday, over 4,400 are without power in Lemont.

Outages seem mostly focused on the east side of town, with outages reported east of State Street and off of McCarthy Road.

According to the ComEd outage map, 3,437 households in Lemont are without power and 1,031 are without power in Lemont Township.

A tornado warning was issued in Lemont until 1:15 p.m. Monday. A severe storm watch also remains in effect for Cook County until 7 p.m.
