LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Park District CORE gymnasium will be closed Tuesday for cleaning after a part-time employee tested positive for the coronavirus within the last seven days, the park district said in an email to the community. The gymnasium will reopen at 4 p.m. Wednesday after a deep clean.

The employee, who wore a face covering while working, reported being asymptomatic during their last shift, which was primarily stationed in the CORE gymnasium, according to the park district.

"To the district’s knowledge, this staff member did not have contact with members or participants, and had very minimal contact with other employees," the park district said.
