Parolee Faces Cocaine-Dealing Charge In Lemont
After several calls reporting suspicious activity, police charged Jesus Sanchez for possession of crack cocaine with intent to deliver.

LEMONT, IL — A Lemont man has been charged after police received several calls reporting suspicious and illegal activities. Jesus Sanchez, 25, of the 900 block of State Street, was charged with armed violence, unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and possession of crack cocaine 15-100 grams with intent to deliver.
Police said detectives responded to the 900 block of State at 1:25 p.m. Friday after they received several calls. Sanchez was taken into custody, and police recovered a handgun, which was not fired during the incident.
Sanchez was also charged with an Illinois Department of Corrections parole violation, stemming from previous arrests. Sanchez's previous arrests include burglary, criminal damage to property and drug possession.

Sanchez is being held without bond.
