Pedestrian Hit By Car In Lemont, Suspect In Custody: Cops

LEMONT, IL — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Thurday afternoon in Lemont, police said. The incident occurred near Cass and State Street around 3 p.m. Police have confirmed the pedestrian was a juvenile.

Police said the incident was a hit and run and officers were able to locate a suspect and take them into custody. The investigation is ongoing.
