Polka-Palooza Features Polka Music, Dancing At Lemont Library
Polka-Palooza will be hosted at the library on Sept. 22.

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Public Library will host Polka-Palooza, to celebrate Library Card Sign-up Month. The event will take place after-hours from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22. The library said there will polka music by the local duo Bratwurst Boys on the accordion, a polka dancing demo, yodeling contest, scavenger hunt, Oktoberfest photo props and more.
According to the library, admission is free; but a $10 donation will entitle you to beer or soft drink, chips, and a bratwurst or hot dog. You can also buy a rubber duck for $5 for your chance to win an Oktoberfest-themed gift basket. Proceeds from the event will help fund future library programs.
This event is limited to ages 21 and over with proof of age. You can register online at www.lemontlibrary.org
