Pollyanna Brewing Company Brings Oktoberfest To Lemont

The event will be hosted in Talcott Square right in front of the business on Sept. 16.

LEMONT, IL — Pollyanna Brewing Company will once again bring Oktoberfest to Lemont. The event will be hosted in Talcott Square right in front of the business on Sept. 16. Food will be prepared by Weber Grill with entertainment from Bruce Korosa and CoverGurl.

Beer-lovers will be able to enjoy the fest from 3 to 11 p.m. for $10. Guests will also receive a souvenir beer stein with admission.

The business said the fest will feature their Great American Beer Fest Bronze Medal winning Oktoberfest Lager, "Fruhauf." German Polka and Rock music will be featured, as well as German food.

The menu will include

  • Large and small pretzels
  • Pollyanna Oktoberfest Bier-cheese sauce (made with Humpenscrump)
  • Smoked Bier-Bratwurst sandwich with bacon kraut
  • Grilled cheeseburger
  • Grilled Mazzie beer can chicken sandwich
  • Schweinebraten –smoked pork shoulder entree with Bier Gravey (made with Pollyanna Fruhauf Lager) and served with bacon kraut
  • All served with Bavarian potato salad
  • Imported apple strudel with vanilla sauce
