Possession of Controlled Substance, Hit And Run: Lemont Blotter

Lemont Police Department makes arrests for possession of controlled substance and hit and run.

Possession of Controlled Substance

On Feb. 24 at 4:38 a.m., Jacob A. Kezerle, 18, of the 300 block of Stephen, was arrested for unlawful possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of cannabis with the intent to deliver and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia following an incident in the 300 block of Stephen Street.

On March 2 at 12:25 p.m., Keith B. Johncock, 25, of the 1100 block of Kim Place, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and endangering the life or health of a child following an incident in the 12200 block of Archer Avenue.

Theft of Labor or Services

On Feb. 25 at 4:38 a.m., Austin D. Johnson, 22, of the 13400 block of South King Road, was arrested for theft of labor or services following an incident in the 600 block of Houston Street.

Resisting/Obstructing

On Feb. 25 at 9:45 p.m., Michael C. Barrios, 34, of the 400 block of Talcott Avenue, was arrested for resisting/ obstructing/disarming an officer following an incident in the 400 block of Talcott.

Domestic Battery

On Feb. 25 at 10:28 p.m., Jeremy M. Manasek, 21, of the zero to 100 block of Eureka Avenue, was arrested for domestic battery following an incident at Peiffer Avenue and Walter Street.

Driving While License Suspended

On Feb. 26 at 6:40 a.m., Benjamin A. Angel, 36, Oak Forest, was arrested for driving while license suspended/revoked and defective windshield following a traffic stop at 135th Street and Smith Road.

On March 1 at 8:36 a.m., Erin M. Malekovic, 32, of the 400 block of Julia Street, driving while license suspended and leaving the scene of an accident following an accident at Schultz Street and Hillview Drive.

On March 1 at 11:48 a.m., Jeremiah L. Canady, 35, Joliet, was arrested for driving while license suspended following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and State Street.

Hit And Run

On Feb. 27 at 3:20 p.m., Phillip J. Sparks, 32, Willow Springs, was arrested for hit and run, leaving the scene of an accident, operation of uninsured motor vehicle and illegal stopping/standing/parking following an accident in the 1200 block of State Street.
