60 Degrees On President's Day: Illinois Weekend Weather
Temperatures will be above normal this weekend, with rain and even storms in the forecast.

This weekend will see some warmer temperatures, but also a chance of snow, rain and even some thunderstorms. According to the National Weather Service, the high for Saturday will be around 36 degrees, with snow possible in the northern suburbs, and rain possible in the southern suburbs.
Sunday will be even warmer, with a high of 48 degrees. The rain should stay away during the day, although there is a chance of rain late Sunday night, according to the NWS. More rain is in the forecast for Monday, and a chance of thunderstorms is possible after noon. The high for Monday is 62 degrees, before a slight cool down for the rest of the week.

- SATURDAY: A chance of snow showers between noon and 5 p.m., then a chance of snow after 5 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 36. South wind 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50 percent.
- SATURDAY NIGHT: A 20 percent chance of snow before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 23. West wind 5 to 10 mph.
- SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 45. South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
- SUNDAY NIGHT: Rain likely, mainly after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.
- MONDAY: Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. High near 58. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.
- MONDAY NIGHT: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Cloudy, with a low around 45.
- TUESDAY: Showers likely. Cloudy, with a high near 49.
