Program At Lemont Township Offers Assistance To Low-Income Residents

Residents of suburban Cook County can attend the program to learn about assistance for low-income individuals.

LEMONT, IL — Residents of suburban Cook County can visit the Lemont Township building at 1115 Warner Ave. on Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to learn more about assistance for those with low income.

The Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County, Inc., (CEDA) will be in Lemont and offers a case management program to assist low-income people to achieve self-sufficiency. The program does this through: family support and case management, auto repair, vision care, scholarship program, trade skills program, family nutrition program, employment program, dental care and rental assistance.
