Property Tax Appeal Seminar Held In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Cook County Commissioner for the 17th District Sean Morrison, in conjunction with the Cook County Assessor's Office, will host a property tax appeal seminar in Lemont on June 27.

Morrison, Joseph Berrios from the Cook County Assessor's Office, and Lemont Mayor John Egofske will all be at the event at Lemont Village Hall, 418 Main St., from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The seminar will help provide technical assistance to property owners wishing to appeal their property taxes.

The Appeal and Closing Deadlines for Lemont Township are:

• Assessment notices mailed: June 4
• The deadline to file an appeal: July 5
• Deadline to file documentation: July 13
