The vendor’s area is open for the run of the show and there are ongoing seminars throughout the day for the price of admission. The show is produced by area resident Tom Cameron. His appearances on several national television shows that focused on the odd and phenomenal, such as Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Stan Lee’s Superhumans, gave him the contacts to make the conference a reality.
He started the show three years ago as a fundraiser for the Palos Park Recreation Department and it has evolved into a larger, private enterprise. The hours of the show are Saturday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with ample free parking. Admission to the show is $12.50 for 1 day or $20 for both days. The expo is also offering a raffle with prizes featuring many of the services on display. For more information, visit the website.
