Rain Likely, Temps Warm Up To 50s In IL

After a cooler weekend, temperatures will rise up to 59 degrees by the middle of the week.

With the start of April, several days of rain are likely this week. According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday and Thursday will both be rainy, and there's also a chance of rain on Tuesday afternoon. Temps will warm slightly this week and every day will be in the 50s, with the warmest day set to be Wednesday with a high of 59 degrees.

It will be sunny and dry on both Monday and Friday, and Monday will be the coolest day of the week after a weekend in the 40s. Monday has a high of 53 degrees, followed by Tuesday with a high of 57. Wednesday and Thursday will be rainy, with a high of 59 and 55 degrees, respectively. Friday should be mostly cloudy with a high of 54 degrees, the NWS said.
