Rain, Snow Mix Possible; Temps In The 50s To End The Week In IL

ILLINOIS — Some snowflakes may be mixed with rain Sunday night and Monday, according to the National Weather Service. There is a chance of rain and snow mix, mainly northwest of Interstate-55 overnight. Accumulation of snow is not expected.

Monday and Tuesday will both have highs in the 40s, although Tuesday will be dry. Monday has a high of 47, and Tuesday has a high of 49, according to the weather services.

Temperatures will warm slightly on Wednesday, which will have a high of 56. Thursday will also be in the 50s, with a high of 52, but it will be breezy with a chance of rain, according to the weather service.

Friday will end the week with a high of 50 degrees, and it will be mostly sunny.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy, with a low around 31. West southwest wind around 5 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: A 20 percent chance of showers after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

THURSDAY: A chance of showers, mainly after 1 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 51.
