Rain, Wind To Start The Week, Temps In The 60s Expected For IL

Rain and wind is expected Tuesday, and weather should remain dry Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

ILLINOIS — Cooler temps will continue this week, although they may jump slightly into the 60s on Tuesday and Friday. Rain will also start the week off Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.

Scattered showers and possibly storms are expected Tuesday, and temps will get up to 66 degrees. Winds could also gust as high as 25 mph on Tuesday, the weather service said.

Wednesday has a high of 52 degrees, and will also be windy with gusts up to 30 mph. Thursday should be dry and sunny with a high near 57, according to the weather service.

Friday will jump into the 60s again, with a high of 64 expected. The chance for rain does return on Friday night, the weather service said.
