Rainy, Windy Weekend Ahead: Illinois Weather

Saturday's temps will only be in the upper 40s, and rain is expected throughout the entire day.

ILLINOIS — After several days near 60 degrees, this weekend's weather may feel a little chilly. Temperatures will stay in the 50s for most of the weekend, and Saturday may not even reach 50 degrees in some areas.

According to the National Weather Service, rain is possibly starting early Saturday throughout the day. Saturday will be in the upper 40s with a high of 50 degrees for some areas. Not only will it be rainy on Saturday, but gusts could also be as high as 25 mph.

Sunday will be a slightly nicer day, with temps in the 50s and a high of 57 degrees. It should be dry, but gusts as high as 20 mph are still expected.

Although the weekend will be cooler, temperatures will start to rise next week. Monday will be in the low 60s, while Tuesday will get up to the mid-60s.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Showers, mainly before 8 p.m. Low around 39. North northeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny, with a high near 57. North wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph.
