If your holiday shopping list includes someone who enjoys being center stage, registration for two popular summer theatre programs is beginning just in time for holiday gift giving.

Little Mountain Community Theatre NFP will once again partner with Artful IMPACT! to offer youth, teens, and young adults with physical and cognitive disabilities, and autism the opportunity to experience the hands-on “magic” of being a super hero as part of a weeklong Super Hero Camp. Campers will rotate through workshops featuring specific powers or traits of a super hero while working with theatre professionals, social workers, and trained volunteers.

The camp will be held June 22 through 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lemont High School Performing Arts Center, 800 Porter Street, Lemont. Tuition is $300 and space is limited. Also back by popular demand is LMCT’s Acting Workshop for students entering grades 2 through 7. Due to interest in last summer’s workshop, there will be two sessions in 2015. Both sessions will be held from June 8 through 19 Mondays through Fridays. A morning session will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and an afternoon session from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the LHS PAC.

Cost for the workshop is $300 and space is limited. Tuition includes two tickets for the final performance with additional tickets available for purchase at the door for $5/adult and $3/student. T-shirts will be available for an additional charge of $15 each.

Registration for the acting workshop will be held Dec. 2 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Dec. 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the LHS archway entrance, 800 Porter Street.
