Retail Theft, Domestic Battery: Lemont Arrests

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

June 29

• Nicholas Wawak, 19, of Gilbert, was arrested at 3:52 p.m. and charged with no valid driver's license following an accident at 127th and State streets. Wawak was issued an Aug. 12 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

June 30

• Jozef Maka, 57, of the 13300 block of Fox Hill Drive, was arrested at 12;49 a.m. and charged with driving while license suspended for DUI, operation of uninsured vehicle, improper lane use and no rear registration plate light following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Ravine Drive. Maka was issued an Aug. 12 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.

July 2

• Blake Farrington, 34, of the 0-100 block of Pine Needles Drive, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. and charged with domestic battery following an incident in the 0-100 block of Pine Needles. Farrington appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse for a bond hearing.

July 3

• Candice Klimczak, 29, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. and charged with retail theft following an incident in the 1200 block of State Street. Klimczak appeared at 26th Street and California Avenue for a bond hearing.

July 5

• Antonio Ortega, 52, of Cicero, was arrested at 2:56 p.m. and charged with driving while license suspended/revoked following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and 135th Street. Ortega was issued an Aug. 16 court date at the Will County Courthouse.
