Retail Theft, Possession Of Cannabis: Lemont Arrests
Lemont Police reports through March 30.

The following information is from the Lemont Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
March 24
- William Beechy, 28, of Lockport, was arrested at 5:09 p.m. following an incident in the 13400 block of Archer Avenue for retail theft. Beechy was issued a May 2 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
March 27

- John Nelson, 39, of Countryside, was arrested at 9:30 p.m. following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road for speeding 26-34 mph over the limit. Nelson was issued a May 2 court date at the Bridgeview Court House.
March 29
- Trevor Omstead, 29, of Naperville, was arrested at 6:52 p.m. following a traffic stop at New Avenue and 127th Street for improper use of registration, no front/rear plate, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, possession of cannabis (more than 2.5 grams, less than 10 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Omstead was issued an April 20 court date at the Will County Court House.
