Road Closures, Shuttle Bus Service For Hometown Holiday
A shuttle bus service will go from LHS to downtown Lemont for the event.
LEMONT, IL — Lemont's Hometown Holiday is Saturday, and the annual event will mean some downtown road closures, and the Village has also announced a shuttle bus service from LHS to downtown Lemont.
The event featuring a Ferris wheel, carousel, light displays, the annual tree lighting, Tractors for Toys, Kris Kringle Market and visits with Santa will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. in downtown Lemont.

- Stephen Street from the railroad tracks north to Front Street
- Lemont Street from Canal Street north to the canal
- Canal Street from Stephen to Lemont Street
- Front Street will be closed for tractor rides only
- Talcott Street will be closed at Stephen
- Corner Stone Parking Lot will be closed at Stephen Street
A shuttle bus service will run from 3 to 8:30 p.m. from Lemont High School, 800 Porter St., to the Metra Station in downtown Lemont, according to the Village.
Bus 1 will begin at 3 p.m., with pick-up in front of the arch entrance on Porter Street at LHS.

Bus 2 will begin at 4 p.m. with pick-up by the parking garage on Julia Street at LHS. You can catch a ride back to the high school from the Metra station where you were dropped off through 8:30 p.m.
