Roadwork Planned At Illinois, State Street Intersection

LEMONT, IL — Roadwork is scheduled to begin at the intersection of Illinois and State streets, starting on Friday, the Village of Lemont shared.

Manhole and structure adjustments will begin Friday, and work on grinding the existing pavement will happen Sunday from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.

According to the Village, the entire intersection will then be repaved on the evening of July 31.

"Use caution while driving in the area and please use alternate routes when possible," the Village said.
