See you at the Pole in Lemont, Wednesday Sept 27 7am Old Quarry, 8am Lemont High School
The annual commemoration of an event that began 27 years ago by students for students, will be celebrated again at Lemont School flag poles.
See You at the Pole, the global day of student prayer, began in
1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their
school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the
fourth Wednesday in September.
Terri O'Neill-Borders, Founder and Executive Director of Hope and Friendship Foundation, will once again be standing at each of the school's flag poles (both located on north sides of the schools) and she hopes
to be joined by students, parents, staff, clergy, anyone who wants to
join me prayer for our kids, our community, our world and all within
it. Oh....and she'll be bringing the donuts and water!!!

Flag Poles are located on the north side of the building at both schools.
From Terri: I always know that I may stand alone at Old Quarry or Lemont High School,
but I choose to stand and because of men and women who have stood for
me I will continue to show up and stand in prayer for them, for our
students, school staff, local, state and national leaders, first
responders, and for intentions of those who need prayers sent upward.

I would love to have your child, you, or whomever wishes to come and
stand and pray with me. Your support in person or in spirit and prayer
are all so important to me.
See you at the Pole in Lemont...
