"See you at the Pole" Wednesday Sept 26th 7am and 8am
All youth and adults are invited to join in prayer at the flag pole on the north side of both Old Quarry (7am) and Lemont High School (8am)
Once again young, and not so young, are invited to stand present the the flag poles at both Old Quarry
Middle School and Lemont High School praying for our students, community, state/national leaders, and for intentions spoken and those held within.
All are invited to stand around the pole on Sept 26th for Lemont's 2018 See You at the Pole
commemoration.

See You at the Pole (SYATP) is an annual gathering of students of all ages at a flagpole in front of their local school for prayer, scripture-reading and sharing of our faith during the early morning before
school starts. This year SYATP occurs on the 26th of September. The events began in 1990, in the United States, where public schools cannot sponsor prayers and some decided to mark one day
each year to gather to pray for the students, staff, administration of the school as well as local and national government and personal petitions. It has grown by word of mouth, announcements at youth rallies and churches, and the Internet and now occurs internationally.
